Shade Sails

Shade sails originated in Australia and are a cost efficient means of creating permanent shade over a large area. Shade sails work by suspending the fabric over the area where shade is required – the sails are supplied in triangle or rectangular shapes, and the corners need to be tensioned to fixed points. You will find a detailed installation guide below, and we suggest that you read through this before making your purchase.

There are a range of fittings that you’ll require which are available from our site. These are the fittings that tension the sail at each fixing point, and then attach it to the fixed point.

The shade sail material is UV resistant, but not fully waterproof, so a small amount of rain will come through the sail.
